FUN & GAMES
Bridge
The AAUW LC Bridge groups meet at members’ homes each month on the 2nd Thursday and the 4th Thursday from 1:15 pm until approximately 4:00 pm. Contact: Carol Ann Council, for more information.
Going Places
Visit interesting locations not far from home…natural wonders, museums, local businesses, educational venues, and much more. Then enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant. Bi-monthly events are announced in the OMV. Contact Michele Rasch for more information.
Chinese MahJong
Have you always been curious about the ancient game of Mahjong? Have you always wanted to learn to play? Now is an excellent time to explore this fascinating game. We meet weekly on Wednesday from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Instruction is available, and all necessary game equipment is supplied. Call or email Rita Worrell for further information.
FELLOWSHIP & LEARNING
Great Decisions
Discussion topics focus on international problems/concerns related to American Foreign Policy. A Briefing Book entitled “Great Decisions” written by the Foreign Policy Association serves as the reference document for this group and is available to all members and guests, for more information, contact Susan Hychka.
International Gourmet
Members and guests hold periodic dinners in members’ homes. Enjoy member-prepared meals with the theme selected by the hostess. Contact: Suzie Ostrem
